Shangrao sits at the crossroads of the Hukun and Hefu high-speed lines — and it has its own airport, Sanqingshan Airport (SQD). Trains are fastest from the Yangtze Delta and Pearl River Delta; for Beijing, Chengdu, Xi'an or Kunming a direct flight saves hours. We offer free name-sign pick-up at both the railway station and the airport.

2. Flying to Shangrao: Sanqingshan Airport (SQD)
Shangrao Sanqingshan Airport (IATA: SQD) is the city's own airport, about 15 km / 25-30 minutes from downtown, with 14 routes to 19 cities. Beijing, Chengdu and Shenzhen are daily direct; Guangzhou, Chongqing, Qingdao, Xi'an, Kunming, Sanya/Haikou run several times a week. We pick you up at arrivals, so no transfer into town is needed.

3. Buying Tickets as a Foreigner
- Apps: Trip.com (international cards accepted) or the official 12306 app (register with your passport). Search "Shangrao".
- Flights: search "Shangrao" (code SQD) on Trip.com — international cards accepted. We can book for you too.
- At the station: use the manual passport lane; arrive 30-45 min before departure.
- Meeting us: after exiting, look for our sign with your name at the arrivals gate.
- Booking service: send us train numbers or flight numbers and passenger names — we book trains (¥30/ticket fee) and flights for you.
4. Main International Gateways to Shangrao
Sanqingshan Airport (SQD) is domestic only, so international visitors combine an international flight with a high-speed train, or with a domestic hop into SQD. The rule of thumb: from Europe, North America or the Middle East, Shanghai or Hangzhou is fastest (the HSR station is at/next to the airport, 5-6 hours door to door); from Southeast Asia, Japan/Korea or elsewhere in China, fly straight into SQD.

Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, China
- Hong Kong, China: change at Shenzhen North or Guangzhou South for the HSR to Shangrao (about 5-6 hrs); or fly to Hangzhou / Nanchang and continue by train.
- Macao, China: cross at Gongbei to Zhuhai Station, then HSR via Guangzhou South; or fly out of Guangzhou Baiyun to SQD.
- Taiwan, China: fly to Shanghai, Hangzhou or Xiamen, then follow the table above.
